The Passage House Inn is nestled on the very edge of the estuary in Topsham - a gorgeous, sleepy, quaint town about four miles from Exeter city in Devon, England. Situated on the River Exe, the town looks out over the river to the beautiful Kenn Valley.

Traditional Autumn/Winter Roast

A choice from two locally sourced meats, served with Yorkshire Pudding, chef's tasty roast potatoes and a selection of seasonal fresh vegetables.
A Vegetarian Option is also always available.
Whitebait
Whitebait, dressed in a chilli, lime and coriander dressing, served with salad
Whitebait are very small fish cooked and eaten whole. Recognised all over the world but the term is applied to different species reflecting what is available locally. In most of Europe, whitebait are young sprats.
Sprats are caught all round European costs including the Baltic, Mediterranean and Black Seas. The two main sources in recent years have been the Baltic and the Black Sea.

Pan Seared Scallops
Pan Seared Scallops served with wilted Baby Spinach, Chestnut Mushrooms and a Wild Mushroom sauce (GF) (DF*)
You'd recognise a scallop shell. They are the fanned out ones you often see laying on the beach. These are usually from Bay Scallops which are a sweet tasting, bivalve mollusk, usually pale pink or light beige in colour, with a soft texture.
Madras Roasted Monkfish Tail
Madras roasted monkfish tail, served with river Teign mussels, sag aloo and raita

Dressed Brixham Crab
Dressed Brixham Crab served with an orange, fennel and chilli salad.
Locally sourced and a great dish for Summer dining either indoors, our outside on the estuary view patio.
